EDUCATOR PROGRAMS

Expedition courses, Insight Day Programs and in-school workshops designed for teachers and school administrators from Pennsylvania. These programs provide school staff, teachers and administrators with the opportunity to personally experience Outward Bound and its leadership curriculum, as well as bring the power of Outward Bound into their schools and students' lives. Educators are encouraged to take their Outward Bound experience back to their classrooms and work environments, enhancing the principles of "learning by doing" within their curriculum.

Scholarships are available to qualified educators from the state of Pennsylvania. All POBC courses and programs are credited through PA's ACT 48 continuing education.

The 2008 Educator Wilderness Expedition will be a 7-day canoe expedition in the Delaware Water Gap along the Delaware River from August 3 to 8, 2008. Space is limited.
