DIRECTIONS

To Philadelphia Outward Bound Center | Map

From I-95 (North or South):

• Take Rt. 676 West towards Center City/Valley Forge
• Merge onto Rt. 76 West towards Valley Forge
• Exit at Girard Avenue/Philadelphia Zoo
• At top of exit ramp, turn right onto 33rd Street (Zoo will be on your left after you turn).
• Turn right at the light at Girard Avenue and proceed over the Girard Avenue bridge (over the Schuylkill River).
• IMMEDIATELY after crossing the bridge, turn right into East Fairmount Park onto West Sedgeley Drive.
• Proceed up Sedgeley Drive to the first stop sign and turn left into Outward Bound's driveway.
• Proceed through the iron gates and park in the lot.

From Rt. 76 (Schuylkill Expressway):

• Exit at Girard Avenue/Philadelphia Zoo
• At top of exit ramp, turn right onto 33rd Street (Zoo will be on your left after you turn).
• Turn right at the light at Girard Avenue and proceed over the Girard Avenue bridge (over the Schuylkill River).
• IMMEDIATELY after crossing the bridge, turn right into East Fairmount Park onto West Sedgeley Drive.
• Proceed up Sedgeley Drive to the first stop sign and turn left into Outward Bound's driveway.
• Proceed through the iron gates and park in the lot.

To Philadelphia Outward Bound High Ropes Course in the Wissahickon Valley | Map

From Center City:
Take Ridge Avenue west; turn right onto Walnut Lane; turn left on Henry Avenue; at the first light past Saul High School turn right on Wigard Drive. The POBC challenge course is at the end of Wigard Drive off Henry Avenue; Drive to the end of Wigard Drive, park and walk down the trail to the first trail intersection. The treehouse will be on your right.

Going South on the Blue Route (Rte. 476):
Take the Norristown exit; go to the first u-turn light; turn right at that light, follow the jug handle and then turn left to go east on Ridge Pike; follow Ridge to Henry Avenue; bear left onto Henry Avenue to Wigard Drive; go left on Wigard Drive. The POBC challenge course is at the end of Wigard Drive. Drive to the end of Wigard Drive, park and walk down the trail to the first trail intersection. The treehouse will be on your right.

Going North on the Blue Route (Rte. 476):
Take the Conshohocken exit which will put you onto Ridge Pike east; follow Ridge to Henry Avenue; bear left onto Henry Avenue and follow to Wigard Drive; go left onto Wigard Drive. The POBC challenge course is at the end of Wigard Drive. Drive to the end of Wigard Drive, park and walk down the trail to the first trail intersection. The treehouse will be on your right.
